Choose from two system styles, our -20, producing 40,000BTU per day, and our -30 evacuate tube system producing 61,200BTU per day. Heat pipes & reflector plate are made of copper or stainless steel to increase the collectors efficiency in cold temperatures.
Each of the heat pipes is sealed in a glass tube to prevent heat loss. The heat pipes themselves contain a special fluid that allows solar radiation to be absorbed and transferred to the household stored hot water very efficiently. The solar heating fluid is separate from the water to be heated and is connected to the solar cylinder via a heat exchange coil. |

Composition:
The outer tube is made of extremely strong transparent borosilicate glass that is able to resist impact from hail up to 25mm in diameter. The inner tube is also made of borosilicate glass, but coated with a special selective coating, which features excellent solar heat absorption and minimal heat reflection properties.
